Prof A. K. Tripathi did his M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Botany from Banaras Hindu University. He has 30 years of postgraduate teaching as well as research experience in Biotechnology/Botany. He has published 75 full length research papers in peer reviewed journals and supervised 16 Ph. D. theses in Biotechnology. He was principal investigator of several sponsored projects from various national and International agencies. He has toured extensively in India and 22 countries abroad and delivered invited/oral talks in a large number of conferences. He was also invited to several countries including USA, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Israel, Japan, Philippines, Slovak Republic, Austria and Switzerland for scientific visits.Prof Tripathi is presently the Director of Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatics Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), Lucknow.
