Dr. Amit Goyal pursuit his Bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in the year 1986. He carried out his Master degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from University of Rochester in the year 1988. He received his Ph.D. degree in the year 1991 in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Rochester. He started his career in Oak Ridge National Laboratory as Corporate Fellow and Distinguished Scientist from 1991-2014. Later he became Empire Innovation Professor in University of Buffalo in the year 2015. He became the Director of Research and Education in energy and Environment and Water, Departments of Chemical Biological Engineering, Physics, and Electrical Engineering.
