Biography

Alistair is a lecturer in the School of Theology teaching Biblical Theology, Biblical Studies and Hermeneutics. Alistair first joined the college in 1998 as a student completing a Bachelor of Ministries degree at the Christchurch Campus in 2000. Alistair has since gained a Master of Theology (MTh) degree in the field of eschatology through Laidlaw Graduate School and is the author of The Last Days of Dispensationalism, published in 2011. Prior to joining Laidlaw he had six years working with Youth With A Mission in Hong Kong, Hawaii and in New Zealand where he established and directed a School of Biblical Studies. He has been married to Jo for 34 years, has two adult children, and they attend Hope Presbyterian where Alistair is an elder.

Research Intrest

Theology in dialogue with science, technology and new media, as well religion, media and popular culture.
