Alfred Allan Duker is a senior Lecturer in the Department of Geomatic Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He received his doctorate degree (in the environmental implications of Mycobacterium ulcerans (MU) infection) from the ITC/Wageningen University in the Netherlands. His research is in the impact of the environment on human health. He is known for his research in the contribution of trace elements in MU infection. He has reviewed articles in several international peer-reviewed journals, and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology.
