Alexandros Heraclides is Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health. Dr Heraclides has a BSc degree in Biology, an MSc degree in Human Nutrition, an MSc degree in Social Epidemiology and a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health. His research involves identification of novel determinants of chronic diseases, primarily type 2 diabetes, as well as neurodegenerative diseases, and he is particularly interested in the interaction between environmental and genetic factors.
