Biography

Alex is an experienced organisation development consultant and coach, health service leader and clinician with a unique background in supporting leaders and managers working in complex environments. She has worked in the UK National Health Service where she held a number of senior regional and national roles including a Board position as Director of Healthcare Assurance & Clinical Professions in Hampshire, and also internationally with health systems in Denmark and developing countries in SE Asia and Africa. Alex is an organisation development consultant who has clarity of purpose and who is able to constructively engage her clients in addressing challenging system performance improvement goals. Examples of her assignments include; leading the Team Based Quality Improvement Fellowship for NHS Health Education Wessex, leading Sentinel Housing Association’s senior leaders programme, co-leading The Foundation of Patient Safety Programme in NW London, leading Ashridge’s OD work with NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group; core faculty for Nilfisk’s global Ride-on Leadership Programme. Alex has a Masters in Evaluating Clinical Quality and has successfully completed the Coaching for Organisation Consultants Programme at Ashridge.
