Biography

I was born and grew up in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus, one of the republics of the former Soviet Union. After graduating from the Belarusian State University, I worked for different research and educational institutions in Minsk. Since October 2003, I have been working for the Federation University Australia (formerly University of Ballarat), Australia. My wife and I have two wonderful children, Olga and Alex, born in 1992 and 1994. We enjoy living in Ballarat, a beautiful town in Victoria, Australia.
