Biography

Catellani, Alessandra was born on January 4, 1958 in Modena, Italy. He completed his Master of Science in Physics, University Modena, Italy, 1981. He started his career as a Staff researcher Institute Corbino Italian National Research Council, Rome, 1986—1988, Institute Electromagnetic Sensing of Environment Italian National Research Council, Parma, since 1988. Post doctoral Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland, 1984—1986. His major achievements include research in computational solid state physics. Research in interfaces, including water/solid.

Research Intrest

Ab initio study of the structural and electronic properties of nanostructures and interfaces.
