Biography

Albert Westergren is the Professor of Nursing in the School of Health and Society in Kristianstad University College, Sweden. He has graduated in 2001 and became a lecturer in 2006 at Lund University and became a professor at Kristianstad University 2009. His research during the thesis focused on older people, especially older people with stroke and their eating and nutrition problems. The studies were conducted in emergency care and rehabilitation. After dissertation, research has expanded to include the care and care of the elderly in primary care, primary and municipal care and care, as well as in elderly living at home. The focus on neurology and nutrition has been maintained.
