Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1977), a master's degree (1979) and a doctorate (1990) in Parasitology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Professor, Department of Parasitology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais. Has experience in biology and taxonomy of aquatic heteroptera. In the area of ​​Parasitology, works mainly in the following subjects: Biology of Strongyloides and Schistosoma mansoni and natural parasitism in Callithrix penicillata.
