Biography

Dr. Bommareddy joined the department in the fall of 2009 after completing a two year postdoctoral research work at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology & Chemical Biology in the area of cancer chemoprevention using naturally occurring phytochemicals.  He received his Ph.D in 2007 from South Dakota State University with a specialization in pharmaceutical Sciences where his dissertation focused on investigating “chemoprevntive properties of dietary flaxseed meal on colon tumor development” using cell culture and animal models.
