Research Intrest

As a young health systems researcher, I am interested in social determinants of health particularly the ways these affect the urban communities. I have been involved in projects that apprehend the impact of the urban challenges on health and nutrition of the communities, their health seeking behavior and coping strategies. Currently, I am involved in a project aiming to improve the quality of maternal and newborn health care in district-level for-profit private health facilities in Sylhet City Corporation, which employs an innovative monitoring and feedback approach.
