Biography

David Ahlstrom (PhD, New York University) is a professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD in Management and International Business after working several years in government and industry, including the computer field. His research interests include managing in Asia, innovation and entrepreneurship, decision-making, and management and organizational history. Professor Ahlstrom has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, R&D Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Academy of Management Perspectives, and the Brown Journal of World Affairs. His work has also appeared multiple times in The Wall Street Journal.
