Dr. Anderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Georgia and Louisiana. He is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS) in the state of Louisiana. He has practiced Social Work for several years in a variety of settings (private practice, psychiatric hospitals, and community based organizations). Dr. Anderson has provided counseling and social case services to children, married couples, families and senior citizens with issues ranging from domestic violence, child molestation, marital discord and other severe psychopathies. Dr. Anderson’s research focus is on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and the influence of parental practices with school-aged children. Dr. Anderson taught in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Georgia for three years before accepting a teaching post with Savannah State University.
