Biography

Bachelor in Biological Sciences (2005) and Master in Plant Biology (2007) by the Federal University of Pernambuco; PhD in Plant Biology (2011) from the State University of Campinas, with sandwich training at Uppsala University (Uppsala, Sweden). Post-Doctorate at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2011). From 2011 to 2013 she was an adjunct professor in the Department of Botany of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, and is currently a professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, linked to the Botany Department. Has experience in Biology of Bryophytes, with special interest in the subjects: Reproduction in plants; Evolution of life cycles in embryophytes; Floristics and morpho-functional adaptations; Ecophysiology of germination and establishment; Plant-Environment interactions; and Plant-Animal Interactions.
