"Dr. Achyut Adhikari is currently working as a Assistant Professor in the Department of Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences , Louisiana State University , USA. His research interests includes pre-harvest food safety, post-harvest food safety, natural antimicrobials. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Achyut Adhikari is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to pre-harvest food safety, post-harvest food safety, natural antimicrobials. "

Research Intrest

Understanding the persistence of foodborne pathogen in an agricultural environment; developing strategies to minimize pathogen risk associated with irrigation water and biological soil amendments. Identifying and developing sustainable best practices to mitigate microbial food safety risk as it relates to growing, harvesting, holding and processing fresh produce Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive issue-based educational outreach programming related to food safety regulations
