Biography

Dr. Allen is the Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, the Director of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Clinic, and an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai in the Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Allen is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine and completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Emory University. During her residency, she was selected for one of the most prestigious pediatric orthopaedic fellowships in the country at Rady Children's Hospital affiliated with University of California San Diego. Dr. Allen's clinical interests include scoliosis, hip disorders, fracture care, and other pediatric conditions. She has presented at meetings, both nationally and internationally in China, Honduras, and Austria. Dr. Allen is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
