Biography

Dr. Kho received his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin, completed a residency and chief residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin, and earned a master of science degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a National Library of Medicine Medical Informatics fellowship at the Regenstrief Institute, Inc. He is an assistant professor of medicine and associate director of the Medical Informatics Program at the Feinberg School of Medicine, as well as co-director of the Chicago Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center.

Research Intrest

His research interests includes the application of geographic information systems, and large dataset driven decision support to improving infection control processes. He is actively involved in project linking Electronic Medical Record data with genomic data across multiple institutions
