Xie has completed her M.D. in 2004 and Ph.D. in 2008 from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She was a Research Fellow at QUT and currently she is the head of Skin Repair and Regeneration, Affiliated Hospital of Ningxia Medical University. Dr Xie’s research focus on the development of human skin equivalent wound model and the investigation of novel therapies for wound healing and scar remediation. She has published papers in high ranking journals such as J Invest Dermatol, Tissue Eng and J Control Release.
