Biography

William Adams, Jr.,M.D. is an Associate Professor and Chief of Plastic Surgery at Parkland Health and Hospital Systems in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, one of only three departments of plastic surgery in the country. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and graduated in the top 10% of his class at Vanderbilt University Medical School. He completed his residency training in general surgery and plastic surgery in the nationally renowned residency training program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. During this time he also completed an additional year of fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery research.
