After graduating, she worked at the Veterinary School in Uppsala on the surgeon for 5 years. She then moved to Helsingborg, which is her birthplace, where she worked at the Regional Hospital in Helsingborg for 10 years with a special focus on eye diseases and surgery. Viveca moved to Bohuslän in 1995 and was district veterinarian in Dingle for 4 years. From 2000, she returned to the small-scale nursing home and worked part-time at Djursjukhuset in Skara, especially with eyesight, eye diseases and surgery. At the same time she started her own Dog and Cat Clinic in Bärfendal, Dingle. Since 2004, Viveca has worked at her own clinic and been an eye consultant at other animal clinics and animal hospitals. Since 2011, she is an eye consultant in the eye team at Blåstjärnan Djursjukhus. She thinks it's fun working at an animal hospital where you have the best resources to help when the most difficult problems come.
