Physiotherapy
ProHealth Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy Centres
Philippines
I was initially studying to become a doctor and I chose physiotherapy as my pre-med course. I decided to take the board exams after graduation and thought I would just be practicing for a couple of years before I pursue med school, but I fell in love with my practice. During that time, I focused on sports physio because I thought it was exciting. I liked the pace and it exposed me to different cases, which challenged me to become innovative in my approach. I worked with some of the local football teams before eventually becoming the Head Physiotherapist of our national rugby team. My involvement in the sport led to me being an educator for World Rugby, teaching some of the first aid courses in Asia.
