Leszek Czupryniak held the position of President for the Polish Diabetes Association and he was the Member of numerous medical societies and organisations, including the Chairman of the Committee for Postgraduate Education and a member of the Executive Committee of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, Deputy Spokesman of Professional Liability of Regional Medical Chamber in Łódź, member of the Program Board for the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes in Poland at the Minister of Health. He was the author of 166 papers published in both Polish and foreign magazines. 

 Leszek Czupryniak, a specialist in internal medicine and diabetology of Internal Medicine department and his research interest focused on diabetes treatment.
