Credentials: MSPT, Cert MDT, OCS, ATC My official Title: Clinic Manager, Southwest Clinic Specialize In or Special Training in: Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Sports Medicine I have been with CPR since: 2004 Hometown (where I grew up): Pewamo, MI The best part of my job is that I have the opportunity to educate my patients about their injuries and what they can do to aid in their recovery. It’s so rewarding to see people return to their full potential and have them be able to maintain this for the long-term. The best thing about CPR is our staff. We are an eclectic mix of people but everyone works very hard to ensure we have a positive and fun environment for both patients and staff. I chose to work at CPR because I completed my last clinical rotation in PT school at CPR and loved everything about it – the staff is welcoming and wants you to be the best PT you can be. There is a great emphasis on employee training and continuing education here, resulting in better patient care and outcomes. We also see a great mix of patients and I enjoy working with a variety of patient diagnoses. Back in 2003, I could see myself learning a lot as a staff physical therapist and 10+ years later, I’ve not been disappointed! A good weekend includes lots of time spent with my family. My husband and I are raising two awesome little boys (proud mama here!) and we love exposing them to all the great activities and sights that West Michigan has to offer, especially camping, swimming, bonfires and playing outside. Of course, the best fall weekends end with a Detroit Lions’ victory! Something that might surprise you about me is that I had epilepsy as a child.
