The newest addition to our staff is Dr. Madhukar Lohani. Dr. Lohani and Mrs. Lohani relocated in Spring 2017 to the Alpharetta/Cumming area with their young daughter Anny. Dr Lohani brings an impressive background in small animal practice as well as a further focus in orthopedic surgery. In addition, he provides stem-cell therapy to support treatment of patients suffering from arthritis and joint pain. After completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2005, he completed an advanced degree in veterinary infectious diseases (Immunology) from Clemson University. Dr. Lohani completed his PHD in neurological disorders (Anxiety and Depression) from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. Dr. Lohani has published several books and research articles related to human and animal health as well as receiving several awards and honors for his contributions to the veterinary medical profession. Dr. Lohani is passionate about advanced surgeries, diagnostics and emergency medicine. He believes in client education and takes the time to answer all questions so our clients leave with a deep understanding of their pets condition.
