Biography

 Raised in Sydney NS, Keegan graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 2012 with a BSc Kinesiology. He then graduated from the MSc Occupational Therapy program at Dalhousie University in 2014. Upon graduation Keegan worked in the Lethbridge area of Southern Alberta for 3 years working in a number of settings including community home care, in-hospital acute care, long term care and in collaboration with the Workers’ Compensation Board. Keegan’s professional interests include enabling clients’ engagement >> in daily activities through appropriate mobility, seating, and in home devices and interventions. Keegan provides a client centered approach to help achieve clients’ goals and remain independent in completing their activities of daily living. In addition, much of his OT experience has been in the area of assessment and prescription of wheelchairs and ambulation aids for adults. This has included both manual and power wheelchairs and also wheelchair cushions/other seating equipment. Keegan is excited to grow the OT services offered at Back on Track and to promote the importance of OT in clients’ lives.
