Biography

 Karen Jamieson completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland with Dean’s Commendations throughout her study and was awarded first class honours. Since then, Karen has completed further study in clinical Pilates and is currently studying in the area of women’s health. Karen’s passion for physiotherapy fuels her love for professional development and growth.  She has gained extensive experience treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries in her previous roles at sports physiotherapy clinics. Karen has a specific interest in pre and post-natal physiotherapy, and particularly loves working with women postnatally to help them return to being strong and healthy. Karen has undertaken further study to equip herself with skills needed to provide effective treatment to women both before and after birth.  Karen also has an interest in treating knee and shoulder injuries. She enjoys instructing group classes to incorporate her Pilates knowledge with hands on treatment to gain the most effective results. Karen is driven to provide the most effective treatment for her clients, and aims to help her clients move better for longer. In her spare time, Karen enjoys playing soccer and other social sports including netball and AFL.
