Dr.Rachel Samuel, an Ex-HOD(Physical Medicine) of Caritas Hospital, Kottayam has more than 26 years of clinical experience has worked in many leading hospitals like Trivandrum Medical College, Pushpagiri Medical College, Gems Hospital, St.Joseph Hospital, Bajm Hospital etc. She did her MBBS in 1986 followed by her DPMR also from Trivandrum Medical College in the year 1997. She is an expert in treating chronic pain in Neck, Back, Joint, post surgical, neurological, accidental, abdominal, pelvis, soft tissue, muscle etc.  She is specialized in treating chronic conditions due to Rheumatic diseases like Arthritis, Spondylitis etc and also manages Neuro-Orthopedic cases, post micro-vascular surgery hand rehabilitation. She is specially trained to treat pediatric patients with special needs cases like Cerebral Palsy, MS etc. She is the Co-Founder of the renowed geriatric care program and activity center "PakalVeedu". She has released few publications including a book "Ningalkum Jeevikkan Oru Hrudayam", based on Cardiac Rehabilitation.
