He is a motivated scientist and result-oriented project manager with experience in managing the design, development and deployment of informatics tools in a life sciences environment. Serve as an intermediary between scientific research and informatics development by translating science and research into software or informatics service development. 20+ years experience in life sciences research and 10+ years experience in managing people and informatics projects. As a Senior Bioinformatics Project Manager at Illumina, I interface with clinicians and scientists involved in the Genomics England 100K genomes project in order to direct and inform the development of software tools for clinical interpretation of genetic data. I am also involved in other projects that leverage my knowledge for the design and development of other clinical bioinformatics tools.
