Biography

 Donovan Baker completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast before undertaking a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University in Sydney, which he completed in 2015. Donovan excelled in his studies and has recently been published in the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport. His extensive clinical experience in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, combined with a passion for helping people, allows him to deliver the highest quality of service for people with pain and limitations. Donovan’s philosophy revolves around evidence based, multi-dimensional treatment that uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise based interventions to achieve results. Donovan’s treatment is also enhanced by his Clinical Pilates experience. As a Clinical Pilates instructor, he has developed an interest in directional bias and using this for exercise interventions.   His wide range of practical experience includes treating National Rugby Championship teams in Sydney, snow sport related injuries in Hakuba, Japan and sports injury management with the Canberra Raiders. Donovan’s experience reflects his keen interests in health, fitness and sports including snowboarding and scuba diving.
