Cam Solomon is an epidemiologist who is working as a researcher for the Prevention Research Center on the VIVA and VIVA II projects. Though his strong interest in exercise, safety and their association with the built environment brought him to the PRC, in the past he has worked as a biostatistician in the varied fields of cancer, at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; cardiovascular disease at the Cardiovascular Health Study at the University of Washington; outcomes research looking at pediatric behaviors, at Seattle Children’s Hospital; and most recently health disparities research among indigenous populations, working at the Indigenous Wellness Research Institute in the School of Social Work at the University of Washington
