Biography

The Anastasia Papadopoulou graduated in 2001 from the Department of Dietetics - Nutrition Harokopio University of Athens. Her university dissertation focused on Gastrointestinal disorders and dietary management. She has been trained in five Athens Public Hospitals in the dietary treatment of various clinical cases and has attended special seminars on Psychological support for people suffering from anorexia and bulimia. Since 2001 she has maintained her staff and since 2003 she has been working as a Clinical Dietitian - Nutritionist at the "Melathron Health" Clinic of the National Health Bank Staff Fund. Since 2005 he is a scientific associate at the Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases under the direction of the Professor of Pathology, Moudokalakis. She is also a member of the Certification Committee for Alumni IEK Dietetics. He is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists. He is also a member of the Greek Society of Lipidology, Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease, the Greek Diabetes Society, the Greek Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism GRESPEN, the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism ESPEN and the Greek Nutrition Society Company ". Since 2010 he is a member of the Obesity Center (www.obese.gr), responsible for the preoperative and postoperative follow-up of people undergoing obesity surgery. He has been trained in safe food management in accordance with international standards (ISO 22000) and the relevant legislation in force, and since 2012 he has assumed the role of Co-ordinator of the Food Safety Group during the certification process of the "Melathron Health" Clinic. In 2015 she completed her postgraduate studies in the Applied Dietetics and Nutrition Department of the Harokopio University of Athens. The great clinical experience, as well as the attendance and participation in Pan-Hellenic and Pan-European Medical and Dietetic Conferences, enable her to become aware of the most modern methods for dealing with clinical events, especially those related to cardiac diseases, diabetes, obesity and cancer.
