Chronic airway diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and bronchiectasis have always been Dr. Yoon’s major fields of interest. His interest in the impact of various environmental stimuli on bronchial inflammation enabled him to receive a Ph.D. degree in Preventive Medicine at Seoul National University. He is engaged in multiple clinical-research projects to better understand the natural history and prognosis of chronic airway diseases.
