Dr. Xianjun Yu got his MD from Fudan University in 1994 and his PhD from Fudan University in 2003. He started his career in pancreatic cancer research as an Associate Professor since 2004. Now Dr. Yu is the full professor of Fudan University and the Chair of Department of Pancreatic & Hepatobiliary Surgery, Shanghai Cancer Center since 2010. He is the vice president of Pancreatic Disease Institute of Fudan University and general secretary of China Association for Anti-pancreatic Cancer committee since 2010. His major goal is the basic and clinical study of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Yu’s group is the first one to use LyP-1 peptide as a molecular target for specific drug delivery to lymphatic metastatic pancreatic cancer.
