He has served on the faculty of the University of Michigan since 1998, where he is a professor in the Department of Pathology, associate director of clinical laboratories, and medical director of Clinical Hematology Laboratory. William G. Finn received an M.D. degree from the University of Michigan in 1989 and completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Northwestern University in 1994 and is board certified. He has served on the faculty of the University of Michigan since 1998, where he is a professor in the Department of Pathology, associate director of clinical laboratories, and medical director of Clinical Hematology Laboratory. He serves on the board of directors of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the International Society for Laboratory Hematology and on the executive committee of the Society for Hematopathology
