Wensheng Pan completed his Ph.D in 2003 from Tokyo Medical University (Japan) and postdoctoral studies from Juntendo University School of Medicine, majoring in pathology and molecular biology of early gastric cancer as a researcher. During times in Japan, he had participated in the training programme associated with early cancer and pit pattern from Juntendo University School of Medicine. For a decade, he has been engaged in early cancer diagnosis and treatment of GI tract. He has published more than 15 papers in reputed journals and serving as a member of Chines Society of Digestive Endoscopy. His projects about early gastric cancer and colorectal carcinoma in China have received grants from the National Key Science Foundation.
