In 1996 graduated from Riga 1st Medical School acquiring the specialisation of dental technician. In 2001 graduated from Riga Stradiņš University with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. In 2006 graduated from the Faculty of Continuing Education of Riga Stradiņš University acquiring the qualification of dental prosthetist. To improve his qualification, attends congresses and seminars on a regular basis.
