Dr. Rostad is a well-known and respected Neuropathologist, whose expertise is widely sought. He participates in the neuro-oncology and epilepsy conferences at Swedish Medical Center and has special interests in brain tumors and epilepsy, as well as muscle, eye, pituitary, and nerve disorders. His current research interests include brain tumors and epilepsy. He is frequently named by his peers as one of "Seattle's Best Doctors" in local publications. Dr. Rostad attended medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, where he was also Chief Resident in Anatomic Pathology. Additionally, Dr. Rostad completed a fellowship in Neuropathology from the University of Washington. Dr. Rostad is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. He holds subspecialty expertise in Neuropathology (including pituitary, nerve, and muscle pathology), as well as Ophthalmic Pathology.
