Ranjit Aiyagari, M.D., FACC is a subspecialty board certified pediatric cardiologist whose main clinical interest is pediatric cardiac intensive care. Dr. Aiyagari's research interests include understanding and limiting end-organ dysfunction following cardiopulmonary bypass, appropriate use and risks of central venous catheters in children with heart disease, and improving end-of-life care in children with severe, untreatable forms of heart disease. He is the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for the University of Michigan Health System and oversees the implementation of the MiChart electronic health record system at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
