Dr. Nitin Puri got his PhD in RNA structure and chemistry from Uppsala University in 1999. He then moved on to National Institute on Aging at NIH and did his postdoc in Gene Targeting using triplex forming oligonucleotides under Dr Michael Seidman. He also was a visiting scientist with Professor Paul Miller at Johns Hopkins University. He started his career in RNA based product development when he joined Ambion in 2002 as a Senior Scientist. Since then he has been involved in development of next generation technologies for RNA and miRNA functional analysis.
