He  is  a clinical dietitian - nutritionist Nikos Kafetzopoulos graduated from the Harokopio University of Athens specializing in Nutrition and Dietetics. He was trained at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, the General Hospital "Laiko" and the Korgialenio – Benakio Hospital 'Red Cross'.He currently works at the Dietetic Department of the General Hospital of Voula “Asklepieio” assessing the nutritional needs of patients who are being hospitalized at the hospital’s clinics: Nephrology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Intensive Care Unit, and the diabetes - hypertension clinic.His career as an athlete intensified his interest in nutrition and sports dietetics. This led to the acquisition of his second degree, from Harokopio University, after having already graduated from Panteion University of Athens. He was distinguished as a water-polo athlete with the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni, participating in leading National and European championships and winning several trophies amongst which the European Cup in 1997.
