Biography

Dr Nicola Beaumont is an experienced senior interdisciplinary scientist, with 17 years’ experience of combining marine science with environmental economics. Nicola specialises in quantification and valuation of marine ecosystem services, and translating complex natural science into terms which are meaningful in a social and economic context.

Research Intrest

Marine management issues, renewable energy, ocean acidification, marine planning and policy.
