Dr. Miroslav Pohanka is head of Biological group, Academician, Centre of Advanced Studies, Faculty of Military Health Sciences, Univertity of Defence, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic (rank: major) and is working as associate proffesor from toxicology, Faculty of Military Health Sciences, Univertity of Defence, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. His research interest is aimed at toxicology, biochemistry of cholinergic system, biochemistry of acetylcholinesterase and assay of neurotoxic toxins or drugs. He participate as teacher in different institutions where he deleverd lectures on biochemistry, biochemical methods, and toxicology.
