Michelle has experience in a number of different areas including inpatient and outpatient respiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological Physiotherapy. Her main focus and passion is neurodevelopmental pediatrics, especially the treatment of children with special needs. She has treated Traumatic Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Nerve Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Brachial Plexus Injuries, developmental delay and other syndromes and illnesses. Professional Qualifications: Michelle has a BSc in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and a MSc in Physical Therapy from The University of Toronto where she received the academic Award of Merit. Previous Experience: Michelle began her career in a major hospital in Toronto. More recently, she spent many years working in the school system in Ontario, providing therapeutic programs. She was also the professional practice lead of the Physiotherapy team at George Jeffrey Children’s Centre, a rehabilitation centre for babies and children with special needs with a multi-disciplinary therapy team of Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.
