Michael Dickinson is the Lead of the Aggressive Lymphoma stream within the Integrated Haematology Service, a team of 16 haematologists and specialist radiation oncologists. He is experienced as a principal investigator in phase I/II clincial trials of new anticancer drugs across a breadth of haematological malignancies. His investigator-initiated studies have focussed on the role of epigenetic modifiers in haematological malignancies and of eltrombopag as a supportive care agent in myeloid malignancy. Working with the team in molecular pathology, he adminsters a multi-million dollar, philanthropically-supported project to introduce novel methods of molecular analysis for patients with myeloma, lymphoid and other haematological malignancies into routine clinical care. Michael's clincal research includes trials in aggressive lymphomas, MDS/AML and phase 1 studies.
