Mark became a qualified surgeon in 2002 and then further sub-specialised in head and neck surgery, reconstruction and facial plastics.Mark was awarded a fellowship of the University of Washington Medical School and became the only non-North American surgeon to complete the head and neck reconstructive fellowship.
