Dr. Helvie is a graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. While Dr. Helvie may have received his training in Athens, he has held a passion for the care of animals his entire life. Dr. Helvie has been practicing at VCA Dahlonega Animal Hospital since 2004; he absolutely loves his work and considers it a great honor to be able to fulfill his passion for helping animals. When he hangs up his stethoscope at the end of each day, Dr. Helvie is blessed to go home to a lovely wife and five beautiful girls.
