Maria Kalfa holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) from University of Athens Medical School graduate (1990). She has extended her valuable service in Residency in Pediatric Surgery for 1years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, she is working as an Cytopathologist at the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Centre of Athens “HYGEIA”. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publication in various national and international journals. Her clinical interest lies in various fields such as ROSE in EBUS ROSE in CT-guided FNA’s ROSE in US guided FNA’s FNA of Breast lesions Gynecological Cytology and research interest include Patients’ counselling.
