MaÅ‚gorzata MyÅ›liwiec joined Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of GdaÅ„sk. she completed a specialisation in diabetology. Associated with the Department of Paediatric Diabetes of the University Medical Centre, where she serves as Head of the Department. Winner of numerous awards for papers on diabetes prevention, diabetology, and endocrinology of developmental age, including the Scientific Award of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Awarded with the Silver Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland for her professional achievements. President of the Paediatric Section of Polish Diabetes Association, Chairwoman of the Awards and Grants Committee of the Polish Society of Paediatric Endocrinology, member of the Committee on Human Development at the Polish Academy of Sciences, member of the Scientific Board at the Minister of Health. 

 MaÅ‚gorzata MyÅ›liwiec has broad interests in the Endocrinology.Her research thus far has focused  on Endocrinology and diabetology
