Dr. Thomassen attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her Certificate Program in Medical Management at the University of Washington Medical Center and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology. Dr. Thomassen completed a clinical research fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology and a residency training in laboratory medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center. In 2014 Dr. Thomassen also completed her Masters in Health Administration at the University of Washington. She joined CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories in August 2013.
